Farmers Market Bounty

A trip to the farmer’s market produces such bounty…juicy strawberries, melt-y cheese, spicy garlic scapes and crisp end-of-the-season apples.
Our bounty provided us with the perfect lunch…toasted sunflower bread spread thick with cheese and drizzled with finely chopped garlic scapes that had been soaked in olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt (recipe here) and a large fruit salad with apples and strawberries, not to mention a simple salad with various lettuce from our garden (we have enough lettuce to feed the nation after this drizzly week!). All topped off with a large iced tea! How the heck am I going to go from all of this to raw next week? I am getting a bit nervous!
And finally, my sorry attempt to capture the farmer’s market bounty with the Polaroid…so not getting the hang of it!
